The People Behind the Resources
Meet Our Educators
Our Education Resources are created and designed by this wonderful team of educators and innovators, Lisa Highfill and Sarah Landis.

Lisa Highfill
Lisa describes herself as a thinker, philosopher, debater, and geek. She has worked in Pleasanton Unified School District in the San Francisco Bay Area for over twenty eight years, and is currently the district’s technology integration specialist coordinating the new virtual academy. Working in the ed tech field since 1998 when she earned her Master’s Degree in Ed Tech Leadership, she went on to become a Google Certified Innovator, a Merit Fellow, and a Leading Edge Digital Educator. Lisa has served on many advisory boards including GoogleEDU and Imagine K12 and presents at ed tech conferences around the country. Lisa is the co-creator and co-author of The HyperDoc Handbook and Teachers Give Teachers.

Sarah Landis
Sarah is a teacher/coach in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has a masters in curriculum from Teachers College, Columbia University. Although her real training is in trying to parent her own child. She brings her knowledge of classroom instruction and technology integration to her role as a co-creator of HyperDocs. She is also a co-author of The HyperDoc Handbook, a guide to shifting the way teachers create and deliver learning experiences. She loves watching the Teachers Give Teachers community thrive! When not designing meaningful HyperDocs, she is out hiking, finding a new beach, or geeking out at an EdTech conference.
